Jason, a multifaceted professional with a passionate interest in nature, holds seven years of experience as a tour guide at Caño Negro Wildlife Refuge, Palo Verde National Park, Tenorio Volcano National Park, Samara and Tamarindo beach.

His passion and love for nature bloomed in the woods of Guanacaste, where he grew up. He studied Wildlife and Forest Management at the Central American School of Farming (ECAG,) Management and Protection of Natural Resources at the Universidad Estatal a Distancia (UNED,) and English as a Second Language at the UTN. Also, Jason, an avid percussionist, participated in an interchange program in Hawaii. There he got into organic farming, which along with music is another one of his passions.

Nowadays, he is an active bilingual ecotourism guide in the area of Monteverde, Puntarenas, Costa Rica.
